This is a fantastic business not just bc they carry high quality fair priced pet food and supplies, not just bc it’s a relaxed and welcoming environment but also bc of the staff. I can’t single out one person bc they are all so supportive, friendly and knowledgeable. They are all clearly animal lovers and it shows with their care and concern. This is one of my favorite locally owned businesses to shop and support (and my fav pet store). So glad my friend encourage me to check it out. It’s my go to place for my dog and cat! Boise is lucky to have this business.

I had a great experience here! I was kind of in a hurry as I am not from Boise so I needed a calming chew quickly for my dog. Peyton was able to get all the specifications of my dogs quickly and kindly and recommended great products to me. She was upfront about the price and the effects it would have on my dog. She was so so helpful and my dog is doing better thanks to her! Give Peyton a raise!

I love this place! Very friendly helpful staff and high quality pet supplies. The staff are very selective and knowledgeable about their inventory and can make accurate, honest recommendations on what toys and treats to try (and which ones not to try!) I found a safer alternative to Nylabones here. I love the bark n purr for what they don't carry (as well as what they do). It's also just a fun, adorable little shop!

Unlike other retailers, a knowledgeable sales person always comes over to offer help!! Good inventory of products for cats and dogs. Open 7 days a week!!!
